Te Tatau o Te Arawa has filed a submission on the Local Government Amendment Bill that aims to update rating legislation affecting Māori land.

The Amendment Bill had its first reading in Parliament in March.

Submissions, which closed on 17 of this month, will be considered by the Māori Affairs Select Committee. More details about the Bill can be found HERE.
